Any and all Apple subscription services you have opted into will cost a little extra next month, the company announced Wednesday.
Apple’s price hike follows in the footsteps of other streaming service giants like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu and Amazon Prime who have also announced price increases for their subscription plans this year.
The last time the company announced a price increase was in October of 2022, when they increased subscription costs for Apple TV+, Apple Music and the Apple One bundle, CNBC reported.
“The subscription prices for Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, and Apple One will increase in the US and select international markets beginning today. Existing subscribers will see these price increases 30 days later, on their next renewal date,” an Apple spokesperson shared with CNBC.
Additional content has been made available over the last couple of months, with the number of available titles on Apple Arcade tripling since 2019 and 100 additional newspapers and magazines have been incorporated at Apple News+ since its launch, according to Apple.
With the increase of individual services to increase, the pricing of the Apple One will also be adjusted to reflect that change.
“It remains the easiest and best way to get all of Apple’s subscription services in one simple plan at the best value,” according to Apple.
